Principal
In this first edition of 2022 Academic Year, I welcome our new and returning students to the Northern Urban TVET College. I hope that you will have an exceptional and fruitful experience at the college, work hard and at the same time, enjoy your student lives to the fullest.
The College started the first quarter with Higher Health Programmes in order to ensure health services are accessible for students and staff members. I trust that you visited the tents and gazebos of the various organizations that visited our campuses for screening and testing of various diseases as well as other health conditions. As a College, we believe that it is important to take care of the physical, mental and emotional health of our students and staff members. In doing so, we will uphold the values of the College, and continue to make a difference in the lives of our students, staff members and the broader communities where the College’s teaching and learning sites are situated.
I would like to wish all nominated and trained Peer Educators well in performing their duties and supporting the wellbeing of the students. Your support to students as Peer Educators will motivate students to perform well academically.
I would also like to congratulate the newly elected SRC 2022 of the College. I wish you all the best in your various leadership portfolios. May you lead your constituencies with diligence and courage and remember to uphold the vision, mission and values of the NCUTVET College with pride.
I hope that you are all continuing to take good care of yourselves and follow Covid-19 protocols, and that you will reach all your planned goals for 2022.
